What are daily routines that are good for mental health?
1. Get up in the morning and think of one thing you are grateful for.
2. Take a moment to appreciate one accomplishment you did the day before.
3. You’ve automatically put your brain in a positive mindset.
4. Make your bed. You’ve automatically shown respect for your belongings.
5. Take time to appreciate making your bed. You are automatically showing self respect.
6. Eat a healthy breakfast, avoiding processed food. You are automatically showing self control.
7. Take a walk outside for 10 minutes. Meditate on nature, using the three step walking meditation, as reviewed in Ch. 4, “Prescritpion For Positivity.” You are automatically filling your mind with nature.
8. Take a moment to appreciate your accomplishments in doing a walking meditation. You are automatically practicing self acceptance.
